Rising Stars

We at Rising Stars recognize that as a new or developing burlesque or variety performer in Chicago, it can be difficult to have performance opportunities. Therefore, we are looking to provide that space for performers that desire the experience and to develop their art! Whether it is your FIRST performance ever, or you've been steadily developing your acts, this is the space for you! If you aren't chosen for a show right away, we will provide feedback & guidance on act development and/or keep you in the talent pool for future shows. The goal is to get as many folks on stage that want to be!

Calling all evil-doers, swindlers, and ne'er-do-wells! Chicago's most nefarious power point-driven character comedy show needs you! Each M.A.S.T.E.R.M.I.N.D.S. (Menaces Assessing Strategic Tactics End Rogues Making Intelligent Maneuvers Diabolically Shhh) show is a board meeting of villains, during which four dastardly characters each present an evil scheme via slides to each other and to the audience.
